PACKLIFE – PP

New Development
VERY LOW-DENSITY POLYPROPYLENE
REUSABLE AS REFRIGERATED FOOD PACKAGING

This project emerges in response to the increasing demand for sustainable refrigerated food packaging in the global market, given the negative environmental impact of traditional packaging. The objective is to identify a material that integrates mechanical, thermal, and physical properties suitable for food packaging. This material should reduce the environmental impact while upholding product quality, ultimately replacing the use of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).

PACKLIFE – PP is an innovative solution of very low-density polypropylene with melt strength and expandability: a new material that will offer the mechanical strength needed for refrigerated food packaging, while reducing its environmental impact by being lighter and recyclable.
